Food tells a story. It carries the traditions of our families, the flavours of our cultures, and the lessons we pass down through generations. The Tasting Heritage Cookbook is a celebration of identity, wellness, and the power of food to bring people together.

Created by young people in Tower Hamlets as part of our Our World, Our Wellness campaign, this cookbook brings you dishes from around the world – from Spanish tortilla to Bangladeshi shingara, from Haitian-inspired soups to Indian street food favourites. Each recipe comes with personal reflections, showing how cooking can be joyful, sustainable, and rooted in heritage.

By downloading the cookbook, you’re not just learning new dishes – you’re joining a movement that values food justice, climate-conscious choices, and community wellness.
